To scan remote machine Registry successfully, both machines (local as well as remote) must be configured properly. Consult User Manual for Operation System. For NT, Windows 2000, you should have privileges of a remote machine admin.
Criterion of proper configuration is possibility to access remote Registry from Regedit / Regedt32.
Warning! Direct change of functions Undo / Redo works only for local machine - all changes will be done to local machine!
It is possible to use logfile while scanning. If logfile is used, all error messages are saved in logfile instead of being displayed on the screen, so, you could save your time not reading and answering all those messages. This might be helpful with Registry scanning under NT / 2000, when many keys are not permitted to read and the warning messages appears.
Logfile can be specified on External Editor & Logfile tab in the program Settings.
