Ilana & Greg's camera broke after only 2 rolls of film (before we ascended to the show camps), so we relied on other expedition members to send us their photos for posting here. Here are five of our photo selections:

• The "before" photo: the group of 21 expeditioners shortly before leaving the NOLS campo.
  
• At the road-head before hiking in, we had a talk about foot care. This was also an opportunity to trim our toe-nails and remember what healthy feet look like. From left to right: Ilana, Dana, Shawn, Josh and Gabe.
  
• Lalo and friends preparing horses for the trek from the first night's camp to the lake. Note the use of hand-made gear carriers.
  
• At Lago Leone, loading for the first boat ride. Conditions were rough and wet. The toes of two glaciers converging at the other end of the lake can be seen (about 5K away). Our drainage location was to the right (out of sight) about 1.5K before the end of the lake.
