NOTE that all browsers (Netscape, Mosaic, Lynx, Microsoft Explorer,
and others) can do most of these same functions, but the specific keys
or buttons to press might be different.
Getting around
Forward/backwards: Buttons to get to places you've
just been
"Go": Will take you to recent locations
Open location: Enter a URL to go to. You can either:
- Use the "open" icon;
- Type in the URL box; or
- Use the "edit" menu
The Hyperlink
Links appear in bold, or underlined, or a different color
(you can set this)
The components of a URL such as

- <![CDATA[http://]]> = the service type and "://" delimiter
- <![CDATA[www.prairienet.org]]> = an Internet computer address
(hostname or IP address)
- <![CDATA[infomain.html]]> = an optional file or directory name
