All passwords are recovered instantly; multilingual passwords are supported. Requirements ------------ - Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT 2000 - about 600 kilobytes of hard disk space Usage ----- The program is a GUI application; you can run it bu just selecting the "Advanced Backup Password Recovery" menu item from the appropriate program group created during installation. Alternatively, you can double-click on "abpr.exe" in the folder you've installed ABPR to. The main program window is quite simple, and contains just a few buttons and status Window. To open the QIC file for password recovery, press the "Open document..." button (the left one). If the file you've selected is a valid password-protected Backup file, the following information will be displayed in the status window: 18.11.1999 13:07:17 - ABPR 1.0 launched, registered version 18.11.1999 13:07:21 - Trying to open 'F:\PROJ\disk_c.qic' 18.11.1999 13:07:21 - The password for F:\PROJ\disk_c.qic is 'Secret99' (without quotes) Please note that unregistered version recovers the passwords which are four characters long (or shorter). To recover longer passwords, please consider purchasing the full version. If the file is not a valid QIC backup, or not password-protected, an appropriate message will be displayed. Being unregistered, it recovers the password which are 4-character or shorter.. After you register (look at "order.txt" for details), we'll send you your personal registration code. To enter it into the program, just press the "Register" button on the main screen; the program will display the small window dialog asking you to enter the code. If the code is correct, ABPR shows the message that it is registered now, and so since than it will be able to recover all passwords regardness the length.
